Alberni Valley Heritage
In the Alberni Valley, visitors will experience a working forest and a playing forest, existing together in harmony with the past as well as the future. For more than 100 years we have cut and milled our local forests in the Alberni Valley. They provide enterprise, industry, employment and recreation for thousands of residents and visitors from the world over. Our forest industry makes a significant contribution to the economy, and sustainable management practices are key to ensuring that this renewable resource will continue in the Alberni Valley.
As we move toward new strategies for maintaining a vibrant 21st century community, the working history of our forests is an important part of our story. Let us show you how we support human industry and mother nature with equal devotion in the Alberni Valley.
